Civil QS & Costing Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QS and Costing Manager to lead our planning and costing functions for construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project planning, cost management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Develop and manage project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget forecasts.

2. Cost Management: Establish and manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify areas for cost savings.

3. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.

4. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of planners and cost engineers to ensure accurate planning and costing.

5. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with project stakeholders, including project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors.

6. Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance planning and costing efficiency.

7. Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular project reports and analytics to stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

2. Certifications: Professional certifications, such as PMP.

3. Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in project planning and cost management, with at least 3 years in a management role.

4. Skills: Strong knowledge of project planning and cost management principles, practices, and techniques. Proficient in project management software, such as Primavera, MS Project.

5. Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
