Civil Project Engineer plans, designs, and oversees infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, and buildings, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards. Key responsibilities include conducting site investigations, managing project schedules and budgets, coordinating with contractors and architects, and ensuring compliance with regulations and codes.
ResponsibilitiesProject planning and design: Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects, from initial concept to completion. Site assessment: Conduct site investigations, analyze data from reports and tests, and perform feasibility studies. Budget and schedule management: Develop and manage project budgets and timelines, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met. Coordination and communication: Liaise with architects, contractors, and other engineers; present project proposals; and answer technical questions. Compliance and safety: Ensure all projects comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and building codes. Quality assurance: Monitor on-site construction activities, inspect work, and verify that specifications are met. Documentation: Prepare and present detailed project reports, engineering designs, and specifications.
