Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an innovative Civil Engineer to design, develop and construct a huge range of projects of the physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion. A Civil Engineer, or Licensed Civil Engineer, is responsible for overseeing the design and construction of roads, bridges, waterways, sewage treatment plants and other types of infrastructure. Their duties include using software programs to design structural blueprints, adhering to construction laws and environmental constraints and visiting construction sites to monitor the building process.

Qualifications:

lBachelor's degree in Civil Engineeringor a related field(Compulsory)

lMaster's degree is a plus

Experience:

l2+years of relevant work experience as a Civil Engineeror similar role

Desired candidates:

lPrevious experience as a Civil Engineer or similar field

lFamiliarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation

lKnowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software.

lStrong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.

lExcellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.

lLeadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.

lAbility to coordinate more than one project at a time

Roles and Responsibilities:

lDeveloping detailed designs.

lDoing feasibility assessments and site inspections.

lPreparing and implementing project plans.

lResearching and providing estimates for projects.

lReviewing government regulations and ordinances.

lMonitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.

lMaking recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.

lConfidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors.

Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.)
