Role OverviewThis isn't a routine site-engineer job. We need someone who can run civil execution on-site AND handle complete tender estimation, BOQ working, rate analysis, and bidding. Full-stack civil responsibility from drawings to numbers to execution.
Your mandate: Own the civil scope end-to-end and support company growth through accurate tendering.
Key Responsibilities1. Civil Execution & Site Management- Full ownership of all civil works on site structural, finishing, waterproofing, concrete, masonry, and external works.
- Daily monitoring, manpower control, quality checks, and material tracking.
- Identify risks, delays, and deviations early and resolve without escalation.
2. Tender Estimation & Rate Analysis- Read, interpret, and break down NITs, technical specs, and tender documents.
- Prepare complete civil BOQs, quantity calculations, and rate analysis (DSR + Market).
- Identify extra items, non-BOQ items, deviations, and commercial risks.
- Build item-wise costing covering material, labour, machinery, overheads, and profit.
- Align rates with company strategy to ensure competitive yet profitable bidding.
3. Bidding & Documentation- Prepare complete tender documentation forms, annexures, affidavits, declarations.
- Upload bids on government portals (GeM, CPPP, e-tendering portals).
- Track tender timelines: corrigendum, pre-bid queries, addendums, and submissions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for approvals and final financial vetting.
4. Drawings, BOQ & Documentation (Execution)- Prepare RA bills, joint measurement sheets, reconciliation, and quantity audits.
- Translate drawings into actionable work plans and micro-schedules.
- Maintain DPR, WIR, QA/QC records, checklists, and billing support.
5. Client, Consultant & Vendor Coordination- Attend site meetings, get work fronts cleared, push for approvals, and handle inspections.
- Manage vendors, subcontractors, and labours to achieve committed timelines.
6. Planning & Reporting- Prepare weekly execution plans and delay-recovery plans.
- Report progress, risks, claims, and variations proactively.
