Role OverviewWe are seeking a visionary Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to lead all revenue-generation efforts for the Octopus platform. The CSO will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, driving customer acquisition, and scaling enterprise partnerships across industries such as travel, defense, energy, logistics, and investment sectors.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can transform innovative intelligence technology into a scalable, revenue-driven SaaS business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the company's global sales strategy for Octopus across B2B and B2G sectors.
- Build and lead a high-performance sales organization (domestic and international).
- Identify and engage strategic enterprise clients, including risk consultancies, insurance firms, government agencies, and corporate security divisions.
- Work closely with the CEO, Product, and Marketing teams to align go-to-market plans and customer success objectives.
- Establish pricing models, performance metrics, and revenue goals for multiple subscription tiers.
- Represent Lab63 at industry conferences, investor meetings, and media events to drive visibility and partnerships.
- Build long-term relationships with key venture partners, customers, and collaborators to support the company's funding and growth milestones.
Desired Qualifications- 8+ years of experience in Sales Leadership, ideally within SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, or risk intelligence domains.
- Proven success in B2B enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and scaling ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue).
- Strong network in corporate, government, or defense sectors is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a startup environment, build from scratch, and adapt quickly to evolving business goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of AI, data analytics, and risk management trends is a plus.
Compensation- Base Remuneration: 50,000 per month (effective from the joining date)
- Payment Schedule: Deferred until the company secures external venture investment.
