Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef/Cook located in Kochi. Malayalam-speaking Cook with experience in Kerala cuisine. The Chef/Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to the dietary needs and preferences of senior residents, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, ordering and managing kitchen supplies, and ensuring food quality and safety. Daily tasks will also include menu planning and collaborating with healthcare professionals to meet the nutritional requirements of residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking and meal preparation, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to manage kitchen supplies and inventory
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Certification in culinary arts or a related field is a plus
• Experience in geriatric care and understanding of dietary needs for the elderly is beneficial
