Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Articleship role located in Mumbai. The Articleship trainee will assist in statutory and tax audits, including verification of financial records, documentation, and preparation of working papers. Daily responsibilities include supporting accounting and bookkeeping activities, preparing tax computations and returns, and helping with compliance-related filings. The role involves participating in assignments related to project financing, mergers and acquisitions, and secretarial work under the guidance of senior team members. The trainee will interact with clients, maintain accurate records, and contribute to reports and presentations while adhering to professional and ethical standards set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Qualifications
- Candidates should have cleared the required CA Intermediate/Inter group(s) as per ICAI Articleship eligibility norms.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic taxation concepts.
- Good analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in working with financial data.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and comfort with accounting/tax software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines under supervision.
- Demonstrated integrity, willingness to learn, and commitment to building a long-term career in the Chartered Accountancy profession.
