Duties & Responsibilities
Data Migration: Will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless transition of financial data during migration processes. To combine financial acumen with expertise in data analysis to support data migration needs.
Data Mapping and Analysis: Collaborate with different teams to map financial data from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Data Cleansing: Identify and rectify inconsistencies or errors in financial data, working closely with stakeholders to maintain data integrity throughout migration processes.
Financial Data Validation: Develop and execute validation protocols to ensure the accuracy of migrated financial data, conducting reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with IT professionals to understand data structures, database systems, and facilitate the integration of financial data into new platforms.
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation outlining data migration processes, methodologies, and key decisions, ensuring a transparent and auditable process.
Post-Migration Analysis: Conduct post-migration analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of data migration processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards during data migration, collaborating with IT security teams.
