Catering & Event Sales Coordinator

As Catering & Events Sales Coordinator, you'll assist with revenue generation of the hotel and providing administrative service for the hotel sales team - monitor sales activities and events in line with annual sales and marketing plan, achieve/exceed budget and sales strategy and monitor results to ensure they are achieved.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

• Attend regular sales meetings

• Build rapport and strong relations with colleagues and stakeholders

• Provide proper customer service to clients

• Attend to telephone, fax, email enquiries in a timely manner

• Assist with promotions and the preparation of products and services

• Assist superior to compile annual budgets and reports

• Demonstrate awareness of OH&S policies and ensure all policies, procedures and guidelines are conducted safely

• Be aware of fire safety rules and hazards, and inform supervisors of any injuries or assistance required

• Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements

• Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures

• Maintaining database, stock of printed material and update promotional flyers

• Distribute sales leads and work in line with business needs

What we need from you

. A minimum qualification in Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management

. Confident in handling cold calls, email writing and responding to client's enquiries
