The Calibration & PM Specialist is responsible is responsible for ensuring that all equipment & Instruments are consistently operating at optimal performance.

This position reports to the Team Lead - Innovation and Custom Design and is part of the Engineering team located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Coordinate and perform calibration and preventive maintenance (internal and external), ensuring accurate documentation in-line regulatory & company standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunction to minimize production downtime.
• Update procedures as needed and assist other departments with equipment-related projects and continuous improvements.
• Co-ordination with vendors and / or service providers for any activity related to equipment & instruments.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• BE or master's degree in electrical / mechanical / manufacturing engineering with 5+ years of experience in calibration and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• BSc / equivalent degree in electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering with 7+ years of experience in calibration and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience and knowledge of industry calibration standards (e.g., National Institute of Standards and Technology).
• Handling of equipment / instruments breakdowns.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Understanding of QMS elements like Non-Conformance, investigations, Customer feedback and Corrective action and preventive actions.
• Understanding of equipment / instrument life cycle.
• Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical industry experience.
