Cakephp Developer

We are seeking an experienced CakePHP Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, with proven expertise in the CakePHP framework. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that are high-performing, secure, and scalable, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications and websites using the CakePHP framework, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Design and manage database schemas; integrate seamlessly with CakePHP using models, associations, and queries.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic for responsive, user-friendly applications.
• Create custom CakePHP components, helpers, and plugins to extend framework functionality as needed.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure smooth, efficient application performance.
• Implement and maintain strong security practices to prevent vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and XSS attacks.
• Write unit tests, debug, and optimize applications for reliability and stability.
• Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories and ensure smooth team collaboration.
• Maintain clear documentation of code, processes, and configurations.
• Work with designers, project managers, and QA testers to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Stay updated on CakePHP advancements and industry best practices, contributing to team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a CakePHP Developer or PHP Developer with strong CakePHP expertise.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
