Domain Knowledge:

> Advanced proficiency in Abaqus and Nastran for NVH and Durability analyses

> Strong understanding of brake fundamentals, materials science, and structural mechanics

> Expertise in Complex Eigenvalue Analysis (CEA) and force transfer path/transmissibility

> Knowledge of automotive brake system development, from virtual modeling to manufacturing constraints

> Ability to translate simulation data into actionable design recommendations for cross-functional teams

JD:

> Perform brake NVH work: model preparation, CEA analysis for moan/squeal, and force to body transmissibility

> Conduct NVH/Durability simulations for disc and drum brakes using Abaqus or Nastran

> Identify root causes of undesired vibrations and suggest effective countermeasures for performance improvement

> Correlate simulation results with vehicle and dynamometer test data to ensure accuracy

> Collaborate with design and testing teams to develop cost-effective, optimal brake solutions
