Company Description Venu & Vinay, Chartered Accountants is a registered firm of practicing Chartered Accountants established on 25 November 2002 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Over the years, the firm has expanded with branch offices in Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ananthapur, Vishakapatnam, Chikkamagaluru, Kadur, and Malur, offering PAN India services. The team comprises more than 120 members, including 13 partners and 10 qualified professionals with CA, CWA, CS, MBA, and LLB backgrounds. This breadth of services provides a comprehensive learning environment for aspiring Chartered Accountants.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CA Articleship role based in Bengaluru. The Articleship trainee will assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits, including documentation, working papers, and preparation of audit reports. Daily responsibilities include supporting GST and direct tax compliance, return preparation, and basic tax assessments under supervision. The role involves participating in risk-based internal audits, reviewing financial records, and contributing to MIS reporting and data analysis. The trainee will help in accounting, reconciliation, and maintenance of books of accounts, as well as exposure to business structuring, compliance reviews, and back-office operations. The position offers hands-on experience across multiple service lines, with mentoring from experienced partners and qualified professionals.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should be eligible for CA Articleship as per ICAI regulations and have successfully completed IPCC/Intermediate (one or both groups).
  • Strong fundamentals in accounting, auditing, and taxation, with familiarity in GST and direct tax concepts.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic accounting/ERP software; comfort with data analysis and process automation tools is an advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prepare clear working papers and reports.
  • Ability to work diligently in a structured environment, manage multiple assignments, and adhere to timelines.
