The Role
As a Buyer II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Preparation of Request for Quotation / Enquiry.
- Floating of RFQ / Enquiry to listed vendors.
- Follow up for Bid Acknowledgment & Offers from Vendors.
- Discussion & resolution of Commercial queries in consultation with Seniors.
- Communication & Coordination for resolution of Technical queries.
- Preparation of Techno-commercial bid evaluation.
- Preparation of Commercial bid evaluation / Recommendation for Award(RFA).
- Preparation of Purchase Order.
- Discussion and resolution of change requirements in consultation with Seniors.
- Preparation of Change Orders.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Functional Experience
- Understanding of Purchase process & SOP's.
- Understanding on Commercial Terms & Conditions.
- Exposure in ERP systems.
- Proficient in MS Office.
Industry Experience
- Experience : 8- 12 yrs.
- Hydrocarbon, Petrochemical, Chemical.
- Pharmaceutical. FMCG, Food & Bio, Mining.
- Infrastructure, Buildings.
Traits & Drivers
- Strong on Ethics & Integrity.
- Communication skills (Written & Verbal).
- Aptitude towards continuous learning.
- Aptitude for learning functional specific software skills.
- Good team player.
- Attention to detail.
Education
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) - Mech, Civil, Chemical, E&I OR Diploma in Engineering - Mech, Civil, Chemical, E&I or PG Diploma in Material Management or equivalent is an added advantage.
