Job Description

About Snapmint:

India's booming consumer market has over 300 million credit-eligible consumers, yet only 35million actively use credit cards. At Snapmint, we are building a better alternative to credit card that lets consumers buy now and pay later for a wide variety of products, be it shoes, clothes, fashion accessories, clothes or mobile phones. We firmly believe that an enduring financial services business must be built on the bedrock of providing honest, transparent and fair terms.

Founded in 2017, today we are the leading online zero-cost EMI provider in India. We have served over 10M consumers across 2,200 cities and doubling year on year. Our founders are serial entrepreneurs and alumni of IIT Bombay and ISB with over two decades of experience across leading organizations like Oyo, Swiggy, Maruti Suzuki and ZS Associates before successfully scaling and exiting businesses in patent analytics, ad-tech and bank-tech software services.

Role Overview:

Every merchant on Snapmint generates a funnel: impressions, widget views, EMI selection, eligibility, approval, disbursal, repeat. Behind that funnel sits an owner, a category, an AOV band, an integration type, and a revenue number. Multiply that across a large book and you get a genuinely rich decision surface most of which is read today through dashboards, instinct, monthly reviews and ad-hoc pulls. This role is the connective tissue between that data and the decisions taken on top of it. You'll build the reporting, analysis and operating rhythm that a 15–20 member merchant-facing team runs on, and you'll work alongside leadership on the calls that come out of it. It's a broad seat by design. The analytical work tells you what's actually happening in the book; the leadership exposure tells you which of those problems is worth solving first.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business reviews & leadership reporting: Own weekly/monthly reviews with actionable insights on funnel, merchants, cohorts, and channel/category performance.
  • Merchant & funnel analytics: Manage funnel data, metric definitions, and identify leakage across the merchant journey.
  • Early warning systems: Build and refine health signals for GMV, conversion, integrations, repeat rates, and churn risk.
  • Portfolio & coverage design: Drive merchant segmentation, ownership mapping, capacity planning, and coverage optimization.
  • Planning & goal governance: Translate annual goals into measurable KPIs, track performance, and proactively flag deviations.
  • Cross-functional program management: Lead initiatives across Product, Risk, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, ensuring execution and follow-through.
  • Systems & reporting: Own reporting tools, dashboards, and standardized metric definitions across the organization.
  • Process & operational excellence: Build scalable processes for onboarding, activation, reviews, escalations, and team enablement.
  • Strategic projects & market intelligence: Conduct competitive analysis, merchant segmentation, expansion studies, and cohort deep dives to deliver actionable recommendations.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2–4 years in business operations, revenue operations, strategy or consulting, or analytics — ideally at a fintech, payments, SaaS, or D2C-adjacent company.
  • Strong Excel/Sheets and working SQL. You can go from raw transaction-level data to a defensible answer without asking someone else to pull it for you.
  • Comfort building with AI tools — automating reporting, generating analysis, and standing up internal trackers and dashboards without waiting on an engineering queue.
  • Structured, short, opinionated communication in both writing and decks. Clear beats decorative, every time.
  • Ownership instinct and comfort with ambiguity. There is no ready-made playbook for this seat; a good part of your first year is defining it.
