About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Head – Paper & Pulp Chemicals to lead and grow our
chemicals business catering to the paper and pulp industry. The ideal candidate will have strong
commercial expertise in specialty/process chemicals, with a proven track record of driving business
growth, managing key customer relationships, and expanding product portfolios within the paper & pulp
chemicals segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the business strategy for the Paper & Pulp Chemicals vertical.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and P&L ownership.
- Develop and manage relationships with paper mills, OEMs, distributors, and key industry
stakeholders.
- Expand the portfolio of process and specialty chemicals used in paper and pulp manufacturing.
- Identify new business opportunities, supplier partnerships, and market segments.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing, and contract management.
- Collaborate with R&D, sourcing, and operations teams to deliver customer-specific chemical
solutions.
- Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team.
Preferred Background
- 12–20 years of experience in Paper & Pulp Chemicals, Process Chemicals, Specialty
Chemicals, or Industrial Chemicals.
- Strong understanding of chemicals such as retention aids, sizing agents, strength additives,
coating chemicals, bleaching chemicals, defoamers, and water treatment chemicals used in
paper manufacturing.
- Proven experience in business development, key account management, and P&L leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
