Role Overview
We're looking for a Business Development Specialist who can drive client acquisition and build long-term partnerships with founders, HR heads, and CXOs. The role combines research, relationship building, and consultative selling - ideal for someone who understands recruitment or HR services and thrives in a growth-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new clients across startups and mid-sized companies.
- Research funded startups, industry trends, and hiring patterns to generate qualified leads.
- Conduct outreach via LinkedIn, email, and calls to pitch Purple Squirrel's recruitment solutions.
- Partner with the Founder to create tailored proposals and pricing strategies.
- Build relationships with decision-makers (Founders/HR Heads) for repeat business.
- Track metrics like leads, conversions, and revenue using CRM tools.
- Represent Purple Squirrel at HR events and networking forums.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 25 years of experience in business development / client acquisition, preferably in HR, recruitment, or B2B services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Passion for startups, networking, and consultative sales.
- Prior experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or startup databases is an advantage.
