About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven
Business Development Specialist to scale growth opportunities for our PR agency. The role focuses on identifying potential clients, building strong business relationships, and converting leads into long-term partnerships across sectors including startups, VC ecosystem, consumer brands, technology, lifestyle, and corporate communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities for PR and strategic communication services
- Actively generate leads through outreach, networking, events, references, and digital prospecting
- Conduct market research to analyse industry trends and prospective sectors
- Pitch agency capabilities and customized service offerings to decision-makers (Founders/CXOs/Marketing/PR Heads)
- Create business proposals, PR retainers, and pricing plans aligned with client requirements
- Maintain a strong and sustained sales pipeline through CRM or internal tracking tools
- Collaborate with the PR delivery team for smooth onboarding and scope alignment
- Coordinate and participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
- Track and report weekly performance metrics outreach, meetings, proposals, conversions & revenue

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields
- 25 years of experience in BD / sales (preferably in PR / digital marketing / media / creative agencies)
- Experience in working with startup or VC ecosystem clients is a plus

- Monthly qualified leads generated
- Number of pitches/meetings conducted
- Conversion rate (proposal closure)
- Monthly/quarterly revenue targets achieved
- Client retention & repeat business generated
