About the Role
The Outbound BDR role at Sequifi is a high-energy, high-impact opportunity to own the top of our sales funnel. We're looking for ambitious, driven BDRs who can thrive in high-velocity prospecting while also navigating a strategic sales process.
You'll be the first voice of Sequifibuilding relationships, generating qualified pipeline, and fueling the growth engine for our Account Executives. With clear promotion paths and a strong emphasis on career development, this role is your entry point into a long-term sales career at Sequifi.
What You'll Do
- Represent Sequifi as the first point of contact with prospects.
- Build and qualify pipeline by generating leads, nurturing warm prospects, and driving engagement.
- Personalize outreach efforts using intent signals and strategic messaging.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to design outbound campaigns and maximize conversion.
- Prospect into new accounts using proven methodologies and creative outreach.
- Showcase Sequifi's platform during early discovery conversations.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and continuously refine lead-gen processes.
- Stay on top of industry trends and become an expert on our product and competitive landscape.
What Success Looks Like
Success at Sequifi comes from clarity, consistency, and ownership. You'll get coaching, proven playbooks, and leadership supportwhile being accountable for hitting targets, driving quality conversations, and converting pipeline with precision.

- 50 calls/day
- 40 emails/day (including memes + personalized outreach)
- 20 LinkedIn touches/day (depending on industry)
Conversion Metrics
- 10% reply rate
- 5% demo-booked rate from leads engaged
- 70% show rate for booked meetings
- 4550% of demos converting into qualified opportunities
What You'll Need
- 13 years of SaaS BDR experience, ideally in the US market.
- A go-getter mindsetcomfortable with cold outreach and turning objections into opportunities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills; you know how to earn trust quickly.
- Ambition to grow within Sales and a desire to move up the ladder.
- Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, scaling startup.
- Passion for helping customers succeed and simplifying complex problems.
Bonus Points
- Experience in HCM or IT (HR, Payroll, Benefits, Identity Management, Device Management, etc.).
- Background in SaaS for SMB or mid-market clients.
