Head Hunter India is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating business leads and cultivating strong relationships with clients and potential clients across various business verticals. This role demands exceptional communication, in-depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry, and expertise in Industrial Inspections (Manufacturing, Refinery, and Warehouse units).
Key Responsibilities
- Generate business leads for the entire spectrum of Inspection & Survey Schemes offered by the organization.
- Identify business opportunities with both existing and new clients, collaborating with operations to redesign and optimize services as needed.
- Map client requirements comprehensively and provide expert advisory services tailored to their specific needs.
- Attend to routine techno-commercial business queries for existing clients, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Lead the tender process for government contracts, ensuring timely submission and diligent follow-up of business proposals.
- Perform risk assessment of existing and potential clients, providing crucial insights and recommendations to Operations and Management.
- Drive credit control by ensuring proactive follow-up on invoicing and payments in consultation with the Finance team.
- Monitor outstanding payments and maintain them at or below established threshold levels.
- Submit monthly MIS and performance reviews to management.
- Monitor client satisfaction (collecting feedback), establish trends, and advise Management on improvement strategies.
- Submit periodic market analysis for the industry, identifying new opportunities across markets, services, and clients to Management.
- Develop comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to enhance service awareness and strengthen the company's brand proposition.
- Lead client acquisition efforts to ensure quarterly business targets are consistently met.
- Maintain excellent relationships with existing clients to achieve a target retention rate of 95%.
- Plan and organize trainings, workshops, and seminars for clients regionally.
- Keep abreast of all services offered by the company across various business verticals, as well as any market innovation in related industries.
- Stay informed of developments, issues, and legislative changes pertaining to related industry sectors at national and international levels.

Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Postgraduate in Business Administration (Marketing) is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing/sales within the Oil & Gas or allied industries.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Extensive experience and knowledge of prominent Industrial Inspection schemes.
- In-depth knowledge of business products and their value proposition.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the tender process for government contracts.
