Job Description
Thryva Life is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to build and manage referral networks with hospitals, doctors and healthcare professionals. The role focuses on driving patient referrals to Thryva's rehabilitation and transition care facility, ensuring strong relationships and consistent business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify, approach and engage hospitals, clinics and doctors to establish referral partnerships.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to increase patient referrals.
2. Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with healthcare providers.
- Act as primary liaison between Thryva and referral partners, ensuring smooth communication.
3. Market Intelligence
- Gather insights on competitor offerings, referral trends and hospital needs.
- Provide feedback to management for strategic planning.
4. Reporting & Targets
- Achieve monthly and quarterly referral targets.
- Submit regular reports on visits, leads, conversions and market feedback.
Requirements- Minimum 5 years of field sales experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
- Proven track record of building referral networks and achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage schedules and travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Graduate degree preferred; MBA or healthcare-related qualification is an advantage.
