JD - Business Development Manager
Role Brief
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving our company's growth by proposing innovative downstream solutions to key accounts. You will be instrumental in our solution-based selling model.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for downstream products and services.
- Engage in solution design, cost assessment, and price negotiations with customers.
- Conduct lead assessment and qualification to ensure mutually beneficial solutions for both service centers and customers, tailored to specific segments and sub-segments.
- Champion the inclusion of downstream products and services in the specifications of various nodal bodies like IRC, PWD, CPWD, CRRI, CBRI, BIS, and other similar government organizations.
- Collaboratively present TCO-based cost comparisons of different construction methodologies (pre-fab vs. in-situ) with KAMs to promote pre-fab solutions among key accounts.
- Engage with architects and consultants to include our products in Detailed Project Reports (DPR) at the pre-tender stage for private projects.
- Support the sales team during customer discussions, lead negotiations, and finalize pricing.
Skills
- Experience in EPC companies, particularly in design engineering or project management.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and specific segment requirements and practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech) from a recognized university, with at least 5 years of industry experience in the EPC sector (design, project management, or construction).
