Title: Sales Manager /Business Development Manager

Location: CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai

Type: Full-time

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying,

pursuing and closing new business opportunities while nurturing strong client

relationships. This role demands a deep understanding of digital communication,

and brand-building, coupled with sharp business acumen and consultative selling

skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead generation and pipeline management

  • Identify and qualify potential clients (mid to large companies) that would benefit from strategic communication services on the websites, social media, intranets and publications.
  • Use a mix of inbound and outbound methods (LinkedIn, email,referrals, events).
  • Proactively pitch the agencys offerings with tailored proposals that address client needs and challenges.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals.

Consultative Selling

  • Understand client needs and align agency services accordingly.
  • Frame solutions around brand storytelling, internal communication, content marketing, and digital presence.
  • Spot opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services such as websites, social media, influencer campaigns, internal communication, etc.

Proposal And Pitch Management

  • Craft high-impact and easy-to-understand proposals that clearly articulate strategy, implementation and business outcomes, making it easy for clients to see the value of partnering with the agency.
  • Collaborate with the lead presenter, strategy and creative teams to

create winning pitch presentations.

Revenue And Pipeline Management

  • Meet and exceed revenue targets by maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Track, analyse and report sales performance, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.

Client Onboarding And Handover

  • Ensure smooth transition to delivery teams.
  • Remain involved in key touchpoints for relationship continuity.

Sales Operations And Reporting

  • Maintain CRM hygiene.
  • Track KPIs (pipeline value, conversion ratio, deal size, sales cycle length).

End-to-end Sales Ownership

  • Identify and qualify potential clients across industries who need digital storytelling, branding, social media, content, and campaign solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to pitching, negotiation and closing.
  • Spot opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services such as websites, social media, influencer campaigns, and internal communication.
