Position Title: Business Development Manager - B2B (EdTech)

Location: Madurai, Tirunelveli, Salem

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our B2B team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, and strategic partnerships within the EdTech industry. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Sales and Revenue Generation:

Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
Prepare and present compelling business proposals and presentations to potential clients.
Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target organizations.
Foster long-term partnerships with educational institutions, corporations, and other stakeholders.
Market Expansion:

Expand the company's market presence by identifying and entering new markets and regions.
Develop and manage a pipeline of potential business opportunities.
Collaboration and Coordination:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
Provide feedback to the product team to inform the development of new features and improvements based on client needs and market trends.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:

Track and report on business development activities, sales metrics, and results.
Use data to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles in the EdTech industry.
Skills and Competencies:
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of the EdTech market, including key players, trends, and challenges.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
