We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing EdTech company. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and driving sales of our innovative learning solutions.
Responsibilities:
Identify and qualify new sales leads within the education sector (schools, universities, etc.)
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in the education market
Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations
Negotiate and close sales deals
Manage customer onboarding and ensure a smooth transition to using our products
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop go-to-market strategies
Provide valuable customer insights to inform product development and marketing efforts
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field (MBA preferred)
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the EdTech industry
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
Deep understanding of the education sector and current learning trends
Proficient in CRM software and sales methodologies
A passion for education and a strong belief in the power of technology to improve learning outcomes
