Role Description

As a Business Development Intern, you will be the engine of our new client acquisition strategy. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing the entire top-of-funnel process, and directly contributing to the agency's revenue growth. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented individual who can thrive with minimal supervision and limited resources.

Key Responsibilities

1. Research and identify high-value international businesses (primarily North America, Europe, Australia) that align with our service offerings (e.g., Website Designing, SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing).

2. Utilize professional networking platforms, industry tools, and creative digital methods to build targeted lists of qualified leads and decision-makers.

3. Develop and execute personalized cold email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns to initiate contact and generate interest.

4. Schedule initial discovery calls for the agency founder/lead strategist.

Track and manage all outreach activities and lead statuses using simple, effective CRM tools (e.g., spreadsheets, free CRM tools).

5. Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends, pricing strategies, and potential niches for the agency to target.

6. Gather intelligence on prospective clients current digital marketing efforts and pain points to inform outreach messaging.

7. Document successful outreach templates, strategies, and best practices to build a repeatable and scalable business development process.

8. Provide feedback to the founder on which services resonate most effectively with international markets.

Candidate must have:

  1. Exceptional Written Communication: The ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling professional messages in English is non-negotiable, as you will be communicating with international business owners.
  2. High Autonomy and Initiative: Proven ability to work independently, manage your own time, set goals, and drive results without daily oversight.
  3. Resourcefulness: Must be comfortable operating with minimal pre-built tools or large budgets. A make-it-work attitude is essential.
  4. Basic Understanding of Digital Marketing: Familiarity with common digital marketing terms (e.g., SEO, lead generation, conversion rate) is a strong plus, though not required.
  5. Proficiency in Digital Tools: Familiarity with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs), LinkedIn, and basic CRM/tracking methods.
