Role Description
The Business Development Intern will be responsible for reaching out to B2B clients, introducing them to the brand and product range, and driving business leads through effective communication, relationship-building, and follow-ups.
This role is primarily outreach and communication focused involving calls, emails, lead management, and coordination with the sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Research for data through various portals to get the contacts of relevant B2B clients.
- Conduct outbound calls to potential B2B clients to introduce the brand and its product range.
- Generate, qualify, and nurture leads through consistent follow-up and relationship management.
- Understand client requirements and effectively pitch products aligned with their standards and brand positioning.
- Maintain a structured database of potential clients and update CRM or lead sheets regularly.
- Coordinate with internal teams for sample dispatches, quotations, and proposal preparation.
- Schedule meetings (online or physical) for senior sales managers with potential clients.
