We are looking for a highly driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our fast-paced MarTech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of one year of experience in business development or inside sales, preferably in the digital, tech, or MarTech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, opportunities, and potential growth areas in the MarTech domain.
- Track competitor activities and analyse their positioning to support strategic decisions.
- Identify, qualify, and target potential clients, including brands, agencies, and enterprise businesses.
- Understand client pain points and align WeAddo's offerings with their needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare customised pitches, proposals, and presentations.
- Implement effective outreach and sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Deliver compelling proposals highlighting our MarTech solutions and value proposition.
- Support negotiation and closure of deals, ensuring a smooth handover to the delivery team.
- Assist in identifying potential technology or agency partners to enhance business reach.
- Coordinate on co-marketing or joint value propositions as required.
- Explore new industries and segments to broaden the company's client base.
- Assist in expansion initiatives for new geographies or clusters.
- Gather client feedback to support internal improvements in offerings and delivery.
- Share insights with marketing, product, and leadership teams for decision-making.
- Maintain accurate lead and activity records in CRM tools.
- Share weekly reports, pipeline updates, challenges, and recommendations with the BD Lead/Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Development, inside sales, or client acquisition (MarTech/digital domain preferred).
- Strong understanding or interest in MarTech, digital transformation, and marketing automation solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, lead management, and sales reporting.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings/events as needed.
