We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive to join our growing eCommerce enablement team. This role focuses on identifying potential brands, generating new business opportunities, driving outreach, and setting high-quality meetings that convert into long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Brand ResearchIdentify potential brands across D2C, retail, FMCG, beauty, fashion, electronics, and other categories.
Conduct deep research on brand size, online presence, product portfolio, customer reviews, and growth signals.
Analyze competitors, market trends, and positioning of target brands.
Maintain and continuously update a database of potential leads.
2. Outreach & EngagementExecute structured outreach through email, LinkedIn, calls, and social platforms.
Craft compelling messages and pitches aligned with brand requirements.
Build and nurture relationships with founders, CXOs, and decision-makers.
Follow up persistently and creatively to increase conversion of cold leads into warm opportunities.
3. Meeting Setup & Sales EnablementSchedule discovery calls, product demos, and meetings for the sales leadership team.
Prepare pre-meeting briefs with insights, data points, and brand background.
Coordinate internally with Sales, Growth, and Account teams for smooth handovers.
Support creation of proposals, pitch decks, and pricing discussions as needed.
4. CRM & ReportingMaintain accurate records of outreach, lead stages, and conversations.
Track team performance metrics such as outreach volume, response rate, meeting conversions.
Provide weekly and monthly reports on progress, pipeline, and market feedback.
5. Cross-Team CollaborationWork closely with Operations, Product, and Marketing teams to understand service offerings.
Share brand challenges, objections, and insights with internal teams to refine solutions.
Assist in building standardized outreach templates, messaging scripts, and research frameworks.
Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
13 years of experience in Business Development, Inside Sales, or Lead Generation (preferably in eCommerce/SaaS/logistics).
Strong research capability and familiarity with online brand discovery tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in outreach tools, CRM platforms, LinkedIn, and Google Workspace/MS Office.
High ownership, ambition, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Structured, persistent, comfortable and creative handling high outreach volumes.
