NSEG is a specialized logistics partner for the Australian market, excelling in reliable domestic Road Freight services. We are now expanding our focus on integrating 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) Storage and Distribution solutions into our client relationships. This is a strategic move to provide end-to-end supply chain support to our growing Australian customer base.

We are seeking a high-performing sales professional in Ahmedabad who is adept at both closing new business and significantly growing existing accounts by providing comprehensive 3PL solutions.

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Location: Ahmedabad

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Timings: 04:00 AM to 01:00 PM

This role is a high-impact position focused on driving two critical areas of growth: 1) Onboarding new clients for our logistics services, and 2) Maximizing revenue from our existing Road Freight clients by upselling our 3PL Storage and Distribution capabilities. This demands a mastery of consultative B2B service sales and deep customer relationship management.

Please Note: This is an office-based role operating from our Ahmedabad, India facility. You must align your working hours with Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT) to effectively engage with the Australian market.

Responsibilities:

1. Account Expansion & Upselling (Strategic Growth)

  • 3PL Upselling Focus: A key metric for this role is securing 3PL Storage and Distribution business from the existing pool of clients currently utilizing our Road Freight services.
  • Deep Customer Dive: Conduct thorough discovery with existing clients to uncover their complete logistics needs (warehousing, inventory management, fulfilment) and strategically position our 3PL solutions.
  • Revenue Maximisation: Take responsibility for identifying and exploiting opportunities for recurring business by bundling Road Freight with 3PL services, ensuring we are the primary logistics provider for our clients.

2. New Business Acquisition (Hunter)

  • Client Onboarding: Proactively drive new client onboarding by selling our full suite of Australian logistics services, including Road Freight and 3PL solutions.
  • Sales Execution: Execute robust outbound sales efforts, including cold calling and targeted prospecting, successfully identifying and engaging with decision-makers (Logistics/Supply Chain Directors) across Australia.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct professional sales meetings (via call, Zoom, or Teams) to demonstrate a proven track record of sales and closing the customer need for integrated logistics solutions.

3. Client Relationship Management (Farmer)

  • Relationship Excellence: Use your expertise in accounts relationship and client relationship management to build long-term partnerships that secure continued and expanded business.
  • Account Servicing: Serve as the trusted point of contact, ensuring service reliability and driving high client retention and satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum Experience: A minimum of 1 year of proven B2B service sales experience in the international market is required.
  • Sales Track Record:Proven track record of successful sales, closing customers, and achieving targets, with experience in upselling and growing existing accounts.
  • Logistics Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Road Freight industry and detailed familiarity with the value proposition of 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), Storage, and Distribution services.
  • Relationship Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage and grow complex accounts and relationships.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills and professional proficiency in conducting virtual meetings (Zoom/Teams).
  • Location & Hours: Must be willing to work full-time from the Ahmedabad office and align work hours with Australian time zones (AEST/AEDT).
