Business Analyst

About the Role:

• Instrumental in translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Looker Studio.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Develop insightful reports and dashboards.
• Present findings clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Looker Studio.
• Perform in-depth data analysis using advanced Excel functionalities (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, Power Query).
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions.
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve data processes.
• Stay up-to-date with latest trends in data analysis and visualization.
• Document data sources, methodologies, and report specifications.
• Contribute to data governance policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, Power Query). Examples of complex Excel projects required.
• Strong experience with Looker Studio (data source connection, report design, calculated fields, data visualization). Portfolio of dashboards a plus.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
