GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Business Analyst specialising in reporting, dashboards and visual storytelling. Strong hands-on SQL (MS SQL / PostgreSQL), SSRS, Power BI (DAX, semantic modeling), Tableau and Figma. Translates business requirements into BRDs, user stories and executive-grade dashboards — including KPI views for AI consumption (token usage, latency, model performance and ROI).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Elicit and document reporting requirements; author BRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Design and build SSRS, Power BI and Tableau reports on top of MS SQL, PostgreSQL and lake/warehouse datasets.
- Develop Power BI semantic models, DAX measures and row-level security.
- Produce executive visual communications: briefing decks, infographics, CXO dashboards.
- Design AI consumption dashboards: token usage, model latency, accuracy, drift, ROI.
- Partner with the Data & Integration Architect on reporting marts and feature/metric stores.
- Support UAT, training and rollout of new reports.
- Produce monthly operational and KPI reports.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong SQL (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and SSRS authoring.
- Power BI modeling, DAX, semantic layer and RLS.
- Tableau dashboarding (advantageous).
- Data visualization and storytelling craft (Figma / PowerPoint).
- Requirements elicitation and BRD writing.
- Comfortable engaging both domain (clinical/public-sector) and AI/cloud stakeholders.
POTENTIAL BACKGROUND
- Bachelors in CS, Information Systems, Statistics, Public Health Informatics or related.
- 5+ years as Business Analyst / Reporting Analyst.
- Demonstrable portfolio of dashboards and visual artefacts.
- Exposure to AI / cloud consumption reporting is a plus.
