Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Endur and the ETRM domain. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of commodity trading operations, risk management processes, and Endur implementations across physical and financial commodities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive knowledge of key Endur modules and commodity operations, with expertise in Endur versions V14/V16 and above.

• Strong understanding of Endur architecture and platform capabilities.

• Minimum 5 years of ETRM implementation experience.

• Expertise in Endur risk and valuation functionalities, including:

  • Mark-to-Market (MTM)

  • Profit & Loss (PnL)

  • Value at Risk (VaR)

  • End-of-Day (EOD) automation

• Strong understanding of trading and risk management concepts.

• Experience working with both physical and financial instruments across Gas, Power, and Oil commodities.

• Hands-on implementation experience in:

  • Book structure design and development

  • Pricing construct configuration (Forward, Market, and Derived)

  • Risk and Trading Limits

  • VaR implementation

  • Option valuation

  • Position reporting, exposure reporting, and MTM reporting

• Experience with credit risk management and reporting, including:

  • Counterparty setup

  • Credit instrument configuration

  • Credit check configuration

  • Credit exposure and available credit reporting

• Experience with:

  • Invoicing and settlements

  • Contracts and confirmations

  • Cash flow reporting

  • ERP integrations for Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P)

• Understanding of accounting concepts such as:

  • Inventory valuation

  • Accruals

  • Account coding

  • Hedge accounting

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience within Commodity Trading, Risk Management, or Logistics functions in large enterprise environments.

• Relevant certifications in Energy Trading or related domains are an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project planning activities, including defining milestones and maintaining project documentation.

• Create and maintain key project documents such as:

  • High-Level Process Design (HLPD)

  • Functional Design Documents (FDD)

  • Technical Design Documents (TDD)

  • Gap Analysis Documents

• Serve as the functional subject matter expert for Endur across physical and derivative products.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, identify process improvements, and support change management initiatives.

• Lead Endur implementation activities including solution design, configuration, testing, and transition to production support.

• Facilitate discovery workshops and provide functional consulting throughout project lifecycles.

• Document business requirements, implementation designs, test scenarios, test results, and project deliverables.

• Follow implementation best practices, documentation standards, and established delivery processes.

• Partner with technical teams to design and implement custom solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders while managing evolving business needs.

• Deliver Endur training sessions and mentor junior consultants and analysts.
