Role Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst with 4-6 years of experience who can bridge the gap between business requirements and data-driven insights. The role involves gathering requirements from business users, translating them into structured data models using data lake tables, and creating meaningful dashboards and reports in Power BI.

Responsibilities:

·      Work closely with business stakeholders to understand, gather, and document reporting and analytical requirements.

·      Translate business requirements into data requirements and identify relevant tables in the data lake.

·      Perform data preparation activities including defining joins, filters, and basic transformations across datasets.

·      Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports as per business needs.

·      Use Excel extensively for data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.

·      Ensure data accuracy and consistency between source data and reports.

·      Perform basic root-cause analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.

·      Demonstrate independent thinking by proactively identifying data gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.

Required Skills

·      4-6 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role.

·      Good understanding of data concepts, relational tables, and joins.

·      Exposure to data lakes, warehouses, or large-scale datasets.

·      Hands-on experience with Power BI for report development and data visualisation.

·      Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).

·      Ability to analyse requirements independently and translate them into data solutions.

·      Good communication skills to interact with business and technical teams.
