We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant to drive procurement, inventory management, and material planning initiatives across enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP MM configuration, process optimization, stakeholder management, and SAP S/4HANA implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP MM Implementation & Support :
- Lead SAP MM implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
- Gather business requirements and design SAP MM solutions.
- Configure and manage :
i. Purchasing
ii. Inventory Management
iii. Material Master
iv. Vendor Master
v. Invoice Verification
vi. Release Strategies
vii. Pricing Procedures
viii. Procurement Processes
- Conduct business process workshops and solution demonstrations.
- Procurement & Supply Chain Optimization :
- Improve procurement efficiency and inventory control processes.
- Design and optimize purchase-to-pay workflows.
- Support vendor management and sourcing initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with business and compliance requirements.
- Integration & Testing :
- Integrate SAP MM with :
i. SAP SD
ii. SAP PP
iii. SAP FI/CO
iv. SAP WM/EWM
v. SAP Ariba
- Prepare functional specifications and test cases.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Work closely with procurement, supply chain, finance, and operations teams.
- Conduct end-user training and support sessions.
- Manage issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- 8 to 10 years of SAP MM consulting experience.
- Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of procurement and inventory management processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM.
- Knowledge of integration touchpoints across SAP modules.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP MM Certification preferred.
- Experience with SAP Ariba integration.
- Exposure to Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, Pharma, or Automotive sectors
