Job Title

Branch Manager - Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the assigned branch by planning resources effectively, driving sales growth, achieving business targets, ensuring operational excellence, and enhancing market share and brand presence in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve branch revenue, premium, and profitability targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for business growth.
  • Drive advisor/agent recruitment and productivity.
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure target achievement.
  • Increase market penetration and customer acquisition.

Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and coach Agency Managers, Sales Managers, and advisors.
  • Conduct performance reviews and training sessions.
  • Build a high-performing sales culture within the branch.
  • Ensure employee engagement and retention.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints.
  • Strengthen relationships with key clients and business partners.
  • Maintain service quality standards.

Branch Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations.
  • Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Maintain accurate business and compliance records.

Business Quality & Persistency

  • Improve policy persistency and renewal ratios.
  • Ensure quality business sourcing and risk management.
  • Monitor advisor productivity and business quality metrics.
