Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Biomedical Engineer at Indiana Hospital & Heart Institute Ltd., located in Mangaluru. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for the daily management and maintenance of medical equipment, ensuring its optimal performance. Tasks include performing regular preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, providing technical support to clinical staff, and implementing equipment upgrades as needed. The Biomedical Engineer will also collaborate with the clinical team to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance
  • Knowledge of Medical Equipment and Biomedical Engineering principles
  • Skills in Clinical Engineering and technical troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clinical staff
  • Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus
  • Ability to travel whenever required
