We're looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design and build the core backend of our payment gateway platform. You'll work on high-scale, secure, and mission-critical systems that power payments and merchant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement payment orchestration systems
- Build and maintain merchant management platforms
- Develop billing and commission engines
- Implement onboarding and KYC workflows
- Handle decline management and risk rule logic
- Build reporting and analytics APIs
- Integrate with acquirers, banks, and payment partners
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with Redis and queue systems
- Solid understanding of relational databases
- Expertise in building and consuming REST APIs
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and payment security standards
Experience
- 2- 3 years of backend development experience
- Payments or fintech experience strongly preferred
