About the Role

We're looking for a passionate Backend Developer Intern to help us build and scale the backend of our platform. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with Node.js and MongoDB on real-world features that impact thousands of users.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and MongoDB.
• Implement authentication, data models, and business logic for new features.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security of backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end functionality.
• Debug and resolve backend issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Document APIs and backend processes for internal use.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in Flutter development and suggest improvements.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• 2nd or 3rd year college students preferred (or recent graduates with relevant skills).
• Strong fundamentals in backend development (JavaScript/Node.js).
• Hands-on experience or academic projects using Node.js + MongoDB.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON.
• Basic understanding of Git/GitHub for version control.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Express.js, security best practices, or deploying Node apps.
