Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Back End Developer located in Chennai. The Back End Developer will be responsible for developing server-side logic, maintaining databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This role includes collaborating with front-end developers, integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic, and implementing security and data protection measures.

Core Responsibilities

Translation of complex requirements into detailed design

Developing and delivering quality services and solutions using Node.JS, HTTP, REST, RDBMS, No SQL and other web technologies.

Maintaining current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology.

The candidate must be able to work with a minimum of technical supervision and supplemental engineering support

Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX.

Build (code) and unit test app functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results.

Provide technical leadership by providing architectural guidance and establishing best practices.

Translation of complex requirements into detailed design and implementation.

Hands-on development and Proficient excellence in JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js

Expertise in building REST-based reactive microservices platform

Experience and thorough understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, CockroachDB

Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures

Familiarly with event/message-driven system design and architecture

Experience with developing microservices using cutting-edge tools and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ etc.

Experience with AWS is highly desired

Proven track record of delivering results, especially in the area of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.

Expertise in DevOps process and tooling for deployment, monitoring, and site reliability engineering

Familiar with managing applications in the cloud.

Qualifications

Masters/Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

9+ years of overall software development experience with strong experience in object-oriented analysis and design.

At least 5+ years of experience on modern JavaScript frameworks like, NextJS, Node JS, Prototype, BackboneJS, or similar Bootstrap experience.
