Back End Developer

Looking for a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in Node.js and AWS to design, develop, and optimize high-performance microservices. You'll work on scalable systems using modern cloud and DevOps practices, contributing to secure, reliable backend infrastructure.

Primary Skills (Must-have): Node.js, AWS, Microservices Development, Observability (Splunk,

Dynatrace), Jest/Mocha

Secondary Skills (Good-to-have): JAVA

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable REST APIs and microservices using Node.js on AWS.
• Design event-driven architectures leveraging SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Implement monitoring/tracing with CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, AWS X-Ray.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline.
• Optimize backend services for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Create technical documentation: HLDs, LLDs, and API specifications.
• Perform unit and integration testing using Mocha, Jest, and mocks.

Must-Have Skills:

• 6+ years in Node.js backend/API development
• Proficient with AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, IAM, KMS)
• Hands-on with observability tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch/X-Ray
• Strong in CI/CD, GitHub workflows, Agile/Scrum practices

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Java for backend services
• Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate
• Infrastructure as Code: Serverless Framework, CloudFormation, CDK
