Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Networking and Palo Alto Firewalls to support, manage, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud networking, security technologies, firewall administration, routing, switching, and troubleshooting complex network issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Azure network infrastructure and connectivity solutions.
- Configure and manage Azure networking components including:
- Virtual Networks (VNet)
- Network Security Groups (NSG)
- Azure Firewall
- Azure Load Balancer
- Application Gateway
- VPN Gateway
- ExpressRoute
- Private Endpoints
- DNS Services
- Administer and support Palo Alto Firewalls, including:
- Security Policies
- NAT Policies
- VPN Configuration
- URL Filtering
- Threat Prevention
- GlobalProtect VPN
- High Availability (HA) Configuration
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve incidents and outages.
- Perform firewall rule reviews, security audits, and policy optimization.
- Troubleshoot complex Layer 2, Layer 3, and cloud networking issues.
- Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure cloud environments.
- Manage routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and static routing.
- Work closely with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams on project implementations.
- Create and maintain network architecture diagrams, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Participate in change management, maintenance activities, and incident response processes.
- Provide L2/L3 operational support and root cause analysis for critical incidents.
Required Skills
Azure Networking
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Networking services.
- Experience with Azure Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and hybrid connectivity.
- Understanding of Azure network security and segmentation best practices.
- Knowledge of Azure DNS, Private Link, and Load Balancing solutions.
Palo Alto Firewalls
- Strong administration and troubleshooting experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Experience with Panorama management.
- Hands-on knowledge of NAT, VPN, IPSec, SSL VPN, Threat Prevention, and URL Filtering.
- Experience implementing and managing security policies and firewall migrations.
Networking
- Strong understanding of:

- Experience with packet capture and network troubleshooting tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

- Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or LogicMonitor.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
- CCNP Enterprise
- Azure Administrator Associate
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
