We are looking for an experienced Azure AI & DevOps Architect to lead enterprise-scale AI platform engineering, cloud modernization, DevSecOps transformation, and intelligent automation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and enterprise observability platforms. The role involves designing scalable AI platforms, implementing MLOps and AIOps capabilities, enabling Generative AI and Agentic AI architectures, and driving cloud-native engineering practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Engineering
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Define cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives across enterprise workloads.
- Implement multi-region disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Manage Azure networking, identity, security, and governance frameworks.
DevOps & Platform Engineering
- Architect and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Drive DevSecOps practices by integrating security scanning, compliance checks, and quality gates into delivery pipelines.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Establish release management processes, branching strategies, and deployment standards.
- Define platform engineering standards and internal developer platforms.
AI, ML & MLOps
- Architect AI/ML solutions using Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Foundry, and Cognitive Services.
- Design and implement enterprise MLOps frameworks.
- Build automated ML training, validation, deployment, and monitoring pipelines.
- Implement AI-powered solutions including intelligent automation, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and natural language automation.
- Define AI governance frameworks including model evaluation, prompt management, responsible AI, and cost optimization.
Generative AI & Agentic AI
- Design enterprise Generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI.
- Build AI Agents using Azure AI Foundry.
- Develop Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
- Design multi-agent orchestration frameworks and AI skill platforms.
- Implement enterprise knowledge management solutions.
- Work with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and MCP.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as a technical authority for Azure AI and DevOps architecture.
- Mentor engineers, architects, and development teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Create architecture documentation, decision records, and technology roadmaps.
- Participate in enterprise architecture reviews and governance forums.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering and architecture.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
- Strong experience designing enterprise cloud architectures.
- Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions on Azure.
- Strong understanding of MLOps, AIOps, and AI governance.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Strong scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
