Role Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable Azure data solutions.
- Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data.
- Implement data models and maintain data warehouses.
- Monitor and optimize performance of data integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data strategies.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout systems.
- Develop scripts and tools to automate data processing tasks.
- Maintain documentation of data flows and architecture.
- Provide support for data-related queries and issues.
- Design data visualization solutions using Power BI.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.
- Train and mentor junior data engineers as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best coding practices.
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and its data services.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with data modeling and data analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and big data solutions is a plus.
