TCS Hiring for Azure Data Engineer (ADF & ADB)
Experience Range: - 06 To 10 Years (Mandatory)
(Note: Candidates below 6 years of IT experience shall not be considered)
JOB LOCATION: Chennai
JOB DESCRIPTION
Must Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks (building pipelines, orchestration of pipelines, metadata ingestion frameworks, storage services like Blob or ADLS Gen2, knowledge of Service Principal, Managed Identities, Linked Service, Dataset, Self-Hosted Runtime Integration Services).
- Knowledge of scheduling services such as Azure Logic Apps.
- Basic knowledge of Azure Infrastructure (how Azure Data Factory connects to ADLS Gen2 or databases in a secured way).
- Basic knowledge of API Management tools such as Oracle APIM or Kong API, and Postman.
- In-depth knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL (SQL Server or any other relational database); good-to-have knowledge of PL/SQL.
- Azure administration experience with services like Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, and Azure Defender.
Good to Have Skills:
- Working experience with Azure DevOps, including setting up and managing pipelines, repos, Azure compliancy, and Azure permissions.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.
Added Advantage (Not Mandatory):
- Python
- Credit risk modeling or any risk modeling
- Azure Data Engineer certification

15 years of Full Time Education
