Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
AWS DevOps Engineer who can design, deploy, and manage containerized applications in AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS cloud services, Kubernetes orchestration, DevOps tooling, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role involves provisioning scalable cloud infrastructure, monitoring cloud-native workloads, and ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Deployment
- Design and deploy containerized applications on AWS using Kubernetes, Docker, and CRIO.
- Configure AWS Compute, Storage, Networking, and Monitoring services for scalable application environments.
- Provision and manage AWS infrastructure following cloud-native architecture and deployment best practices.
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Implement and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Set up sandbox environments, ensuring efficient and repeatable provisioning processes.
- Integrate infrastructure seamlessly with DevOps toolchains.
Kubernetes & Container Management
- Administer Kubernetes clusters (EKS or self-managed) for high availability and performance.
- Manage application lifecycle, deployments, upgrades, and orchestration best practices.
- Optimize cluster configurations, node scaling, and workload distribution.
Cloud Security, HA/DR, & Hybrid Administration
- Apply knowledge of AWS security, compute, and storage services to manage hybrid cloud environments.
- Configure and maintain high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) setups.
- Ensure compliance and secure configuration of cloud workloads.
Monitoring & Operational Excellence
- Monitor service health, SLAs, KPIs, and cloud workloads using AWS and third-party tools.
- Ensure seamless integration between cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to enhance application reliability.
Collaboration & Quality Assurance
- Work closely with application architects to identify performance, code quality, and coverage tools.
- Define and maintain quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in architecture reviews and improvement initiatives.
