Experience Range: - 08 To 10 Years (Mandatory)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

1) Cloud Infrastructure Design and Management:

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure infrastructure/application architectures on public cloud platforms (AWS)
• Create detailed architectural blueprints, design documents, and network topologies for migration of workload from on-prem to AWS.
• Evaluate existing on-premise applications and design effective cloud migration strategies

2) Security and Compliance:

• Design should have robust cloud security controls data encryption (at rest and in transit), and network security (VPCs, Firewalls, WAFs).
• Design should comply with the security compliance
• Ensure the cloud architecture complies with client standards

3) Cloud Resource Optimization and Management:

• Optimize cloud resources on AWS for cost efficiency and performance.
• Design knowledge on API Gateway, Route 53, ELB, NLB, S3, Network ACLs, Security Groups, and Transit Gateway routings.
• Design for high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery (DR) across multiple regions or zones.

4) Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information for the design.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance as and when needed.
• Collaborate with the Cloud team on migrating workloads.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience in Cloud design and migration Engineer and Proficiency in AWS Cloud Platform.
• Deep understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, load balancers, CDN, and hybrid cloud connectivity (e.g., AWS Direct Connect).
• Proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications (AWS: Certified Solutions Architect Professional / Associate)
