AVP / VP – Process Excellence

Over the last few years, Volo Health Insurance TPA has grown rapidly in a complex, operations-intensive healthcare environment.

With scale comes an important challenge.

Processes evolve. Teams expand. Layers and controls get added. Exceptions become workflows. Temporary solutions sometimes become permanent processes. Over time, organisations can find themselves addressing complexity with more people, more reviews and additional controls.

We want to challenge this.

We are looking for an AVP / VP – Process Excellence with a clear mandate:

Make the organisation work better — in a measurable and sustainable manner.

This is not about presentations, extensive SOP reviews or adding another layer of governance.

It is about going deep into how work actually happens, identifying what can be simplified or redesigned, and working with teams to implement meaningful change.

The role will work across claims, cashless, customer service, provider operations and other critical workflows to:

• Identify bottlenecks, rework, leakages, unnecessary hand-offs and process complexity

• Simplify processes and eliminate avoidable work

• Redesign workflows from first principles where incremental improvement is not enough

• Improve productivity, turnaround time, quality and customer experience

• Build scalable and consistent processes with less dependence on individual interventions

• Work closely with business, operations, product and technology teams to implement change

• Use data, automation and technology where they genuinely improve outcomes

• Own transformation from diagnosis through implementation to measurable impact

This is not a traditional quality or audit role.

We are looking for someone who can enter a complex operating environment, understand why processes behave the way they do, challenge established assumptions, develop practical solutions — and stay engaged until outcomes improve.

The ideal candidate could come from insurance, healthcare, fintech, banking, BPO, logistics, e-commerce or another scaled, operations-intensive business.

We would particularly value experience in process excellence, operational transformation, business excellence, process re-engineering or large-scale operations redesign.

Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, analytics, workflow transformation and automation would be valuable.

Most importantly, we value:
