Job Description Credit Analyst Risk Management

Key Responsibilities

Establish appropriate credit limits for specific exposures based on fundamental analysis, industry analysis, meetings with company management and arrangers.

Analyze operational data and financial statements, detailed structures, to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit. Assist senior members of the team in taking credit decisions.

Prepare credit assessment reports and present recommendation / analysis to the approving authorities.

Preparation of annual and quarterly review notes to be presented to be presented to appropriate approving authority.

Review existing exposures on continued basis to ensure that they remain within overall risk appetite.

Maintain regular contact with the issuers and arrangers so as to enable timely receipt of information for reviews and covenant monitoring.

Track and analyze various credit exposures being taken by other players in the industry.

Education:

CA / CFA / MBA (Fin)

Prior Work Exp: 6 - 8 years of exp in credit assessment of large corporate1000 cr+ revenue

(preferably in NBFC/ private sector banks) post CA / MBA.
