What You Do
Audit Management
Support the Group Functional Head (GFH) and Group Portfolio Lead (GPL) to:
- Manage and conduct audits (including both credit risk and non-credit risk audits) of the various consumer, small business and private banking businesses of OCBC Banking Group (excluding OCBC Indonesia), to provide independent, risk-based and objective assurance, advice, insight and foresight, in accordance with Group Audit's standards and key performance indicators.
- Work with a team of auditors to complete assigned audit engagements on time, within budget and according to established required standards.
- Complete working papers for audits or advisory engagements through documenting the work conducted, describing the work performed and the evidence that supports the observations and conclusions, as well as reviewing the work performed by other team members.
- Evaluate root causes, provide value-added opinions and practical, actionable and sustainable recommendations to improve the design and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Review and assess the appropriateness of audit issues, recommendations and management action plans.
- Assess the adequacy of evidence for closure of audit issues.
- Perform periodic/on-going risk monitoring of the businesses and operations to identify risk areas and emerging risk themes.
Stakeholder Management
Assist The GFH And GPL To
- Periodically engage with divisional stakeholders and management to (i) keep abreast of business developments, organisational changes and key initiatives, and (ii) provide updates on key risk themes and significant audit issues, emerging risks, culture or conduct concerns.
- Foster strong and enduring relationships with the business and act as a trusted advisor on credit risk and controls.
Team Management
- Work effectively as a team member or as a team leader for business-as-usual audits, Thematic or Group audits, or advisory engagements.
- Promote the use of advanced data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Agentic AI and automation tools to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.

You might join us in Global Markets, Risk and Finance Audit, Credit Risk Audit, Investigation, Professional Practices and Governance or Audit Analytics. But wherever you are, your work with clients from around the world drives innovation and makes audit an artform.
Who You Are
- At least five years of relevant credit and business, or audit experience in Consumer, Private Banking and / or Small Business.
- Strong analytical and managerial skills, and the ability to perform detailed/technical work without losing sight of big picture issues and to maintain balanced risk-reward perspectives.
- Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to interact with people at different levels, work in a team context and step up in a lead role in various assignments.
- High level of initiative, drive, proactiveness, agility and ability to work under pressure.
- Data analytics skills and experience in applying data analytics, Generative AI and machine learning tools. Experience in developing or implementing advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions for control testing, risk assessment, and continuous monitoring would be an advantage, enabling the delivery of insightful, forward-looking, and efficient audit coverage in support of Group Audit's strategy.
- Able to travel (10%).
- Prior auditing experience is desirable, but not mandatory.
